Privacy policy

Last updated: 7 November 2026

In short: this website sets no cookies and loads nothing from Google unless you click “Allow”. The only optional service is Google Analytics (visitor statistics, no ads). Bookings happen on Calendly. We never sell your data.

2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Namecheap, Inc. (4600 East Washington Street, Suite 300, Phoenix, AZ 85034, USA) on a server in Amsterdam, Netherlands. When you open a page, the server automatically records your IP address, the date and time, the page or file requested, the referring page and your browser and operating system. We need this to deliver the website and keep it secure. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure, working website).

3. Your privacy choice

When you click “Allow” or “Decline”, we store your choice and the date in your browser’s local storage (keyarti-consent) so we don’t ask again on every visit. It stays on your device, is not a cookie and is not sent to us. We ask again after 12 months. Legal basis: § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG (strictly necessary). You can change your choice at any time via “Privacy settings” at the bottom of every page; if you withdraw your consent, the Google Analytics cookies are deleted.

If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as “Decline” until you choose otherwise.

4. Google Analytics 4 (only with your consent)

If you click “Allow”, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use our website, for example which pages are viewed and which stylist’s booking button is clicked. The service is provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”), which processes the data on our behalf (data processing terms in place).

DataPages viewed, clicks on booking buttons (incl. the stylist’s name) and other outgoing links, how far you scroll, time on page, referring website, device type, browser, operating system, screen size, language, approximate location (city level). Your IP address is used for the location lookup and is not stored by Google Analytics.
Cookies_ga and _ga_VTCCYWFBD6 – a random ID to recognise repeat visits; stored for 13 months.
RetentionAnalytics data is deleted after 14 months.
Switched offGoogle Signals, advertising features, ad personalisation and any link to Google Ads.
TransferGoogle may process data in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision of the European Commission, Art. 45 GDPR).
Legal basisYour consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG. You can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future via “Privacy settings”.

Without your consent, Google Analytics is not loaded and no data is sent to Google. More information:policies.google.com/privacy.

5. Online booking with Calendly

The “Book” buttons take you to Calendly (Calendly LLC, 271 17th St NW, Atlanta, GA 30363, USA). By clicking, you leave our website. The data you enter there (name, email address, appointment) is processed by Calendly and passed on to us so we can hold your appointment (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The links carry a short tag (e.g. utm_source=arti.hair) so we can see that a booking came from our website. Calendly’s own privacy policy and cookie settings apply on calendly.com: calendly.com/privacy. Calendly is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

6. Links to Instagram and Google Maps

Our Instagram and map links are plain links, not embedded plugins. No data is sent to Meta or Google when you load our website. If you open a link, the privacy policy of that service applies.

7. Fonts

All fonts are served from our own server. No connection to Google Fonts or any other font provider is made.

8. Contact by email

If you email us, we use your details to answer your request and keep them as long as needed for that (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for general enquiries).
